Meaning "support" in Sanskrit, Adhara is a spiritual and wellness center for women in New York City that acts as a platform for individual growth and development

Adhara highlights the work of a global community of women through our events, services, and monthly online publications, reaching women around the world who aim to discover what it means to be soulful beings who are highly engaged and interconnected with our world.

We take an expansive approach to growth and self-discovery, as we are constantly searching for the connection between the universal energies of life and the more human realities of our world. We ask ourselves the big questions of living exploratory lives and draw upon multidimensional and informed answers.

INTENTION

Openness. Peace. Creativity. Support.

Adhara is a membership club and rental space, opening in Fall 2015, offering spiritual and wellness programs that celebrate women and enhance their individual and collective development. It is a space for women to make powerful connections with our inner selves and each other, unlock our potential, nurture our well being, and share our gifts and talents with the world.

We are a community of women that understand that the collective whole is greater than the sum of our individual journeys. Our women are energetic, passionate and committed, have a deep interest in the collective power of gathering in order to enhance our lives, nourish our bodies through exercise and wellness activities, and value making a significant and long-lasting impact on the world.

ADHARA ON WORDS

Adhara on Words is a content sharing publication that reaches and highlights a global community of women. The monthly issues serve as a playground for thought and exploration – for seekers of questions that can’t be answered through the lens of only one modality, such as science, technology, spirituality, philosophy, religion and history.

Through the examination of current events, history, technology and politics, we create thought provoking content that opens up a conversation that inspires to challenge our viewpoints and expand our possibilities.

Each issue centers around a question for discovery explored through multidimensional answers, including spiritual practice, mind/body connection, talks with inspirational women embodying Adhara's message, guest writings, a look at the question through the current world lens, and highlighs of work created and produced by Adhara women around the world.
