SIGN UP FOR ADHARA THOUGHTWAVES

Meaning "support" in Sanskrit, Adhara is a space for women to discover what it means to be soulful beings who are highly engaged and interconnected with our world.

Our approach to growth and self-discovery is expansive, as we are constantly searching for the connection between the universal energies of life and the more human realities of our world.

We ask ourselves the big questions of living exploratory lives filled with unknown, as we draw upon multidimensional and informed answers to our burning questions, from philosophy, science, religion, spiritual thought, history and more.

These little glimpses of the known help us to deepen our exploration of ourselves, ultimately enhancing our ability better enjoy what it means to be present and alive.

We're a community of women that understand that the collective whole is greater than the sum of our individual journeys.

Through the examination of current events, history, technology and politics, we create thought provoking content that focuses on four elements - dharma, kiva, atma and seva - that inspires to challenge our narrow viewpoints to expand our possibilities in order to make a positive impact on our world.

Dharma, translated as life’s calling in Sanskrit, shares our unique talents with the world. When we find our true calling as women, we shine, and from that place, we become help to expand conscious thought through our thought provoking and compelling work.

Kiva, a Sanskrit word for community, reminds us of the invaluable connection that we share as women. Creating an environment, whether digital or in person, to support one another in our development and celebrate our connectedness is at the very essence of who we are as women.

Atma is a Sanksrit word for self. Often thought of as soul, atma implies that the exploration of ourselves leads to living a more enlightened and enriched life in which we dwell from a place of purpose and connectedness to all that is around us.

Seva means selfless service in Sanskrit. It teaches us that through the improvement of our communities, we enhance our own spiritual growth and that of those around us. It is our humble duty and responsibility to use our unique talents to give back and serve others in order to create a more integrated, unified world.
