Meaning "support" in Sanskrit, Adhara is a space for women who are energetic, passionate, committed, and have a deep interest in developing themselves socially and spiritually.

Adhara is an environment for women to make powerful connections with our inner selves and others, unlock our potential, nurture our well being, and share our gifts and talents with the world.

We move beyond the narrow walls of industry, social norms, spiritual trends and soulless philanthropy to dig deeper in order to achive inner peace, personal growth and life fulfillment.

We focus on four key elements of living an embodied, realized life – dharma, kiva, atma and seva.

Dharma, translated as life’s calling in Sanskrit, shares our unique talents with the world. When we find our true calling as women, we shine, and from that place, we become wildly successful in all that we do. we find our true calling as women, we shine, and from that place, we become wildly successful in all that we do.

Kiva, a Sanskrit word for community, reminds us of the invaluable connection that we share as women. Creating an environment, whether digital or in person, to support one another in our development and celebrate our womanhood is at the very essence of who we are as women.

Atma is a Sanksrit word for self. Another definition, soul, implies that the exploration of ourselves leads us to living a more enlightened and enriched life in which we dwell from a place of purpose and connectedness to all that is around us.

Seva means selfless service in Sanskrit. It teaches us that through the improvement of our communities, we enhance our own spiritual growth and that of those around us. It is our humble duty and responsibility to use our unique talents to give back and serve others in order to make a positive impact on our world.

I WANTED TO DO BUT I KNEW THE
WOMAN I WANTED TO BECOME.

INTENTION

Adhara was built for women from all walks of life, all industries and all ages. Everything that we do is designed with both our uniqueness in mind, as well as the idea that we are all seeking the same thing - guidance and support. Within our space, we’re creating a sense of freedom to talk about the things that we are truly passionate about, sharing ideas, and inspiring each other to live whole lives.

We are a social group by nature but we are also socially aware. We invest in our own Adhara women right here in New York City as well as women around the globe because we know that when women are economic agents and leaders, social change accelerates, returns multiply, and can be measured in our families, our neighborhoods, and on the other side of the world.
